Thanks for your informative and detailed review. I have a general question for you regarding turntable strategy: What do you think of using a decent turntable (but not a crazy expensive one with lots of isolation tech) with the MinusK technology to create a high value package?

My thinking is that a turntable with a good cartridge, tonearm and speed control mated with a MinusK isolation device would achieve great results. For example, a Bryston BLP1 fitted with a decent cartridge and accompanied with this MinusK tech – would that be a giant killer?

Your thoughts?

I can see why isolation could make a massive difference. I used to have my system used in a room with a suspended wooden floor and it really muddied the sound, isolation would have really helped both on the turntable and speakers. It used to sound so much better through headphones. Now my system is is on a concrete floor and I can listen through the speakers again with full satisafction.

A question if I may . . is the floor in your listening room suspended as in wooden over wooden beams? Or. is it concrete as in inert? I believe you would agree that what a turntable is mounted on is of importance, too. More so in the former rather than in the latter, I am thinking.

It’s very nice to me to see that analog is alive and well in your domain. I’d love for you to see (er, hear) some of my collection. Likewise, I’d love to see and hear some of what’s in yours.
